The library of the Research Centre for Hanse and Baltic History (FGHO) and of the European Hansemuseum in Lübeck houses a special collection of publications on the history of the German Hanse and related topics in economic, social, urban and political history.
The library holds a collection of approximately 3,500 books and about 10 scholarly journals. It is possible to search the collection via the GVK-OPAC. Another approximately 3,000 print-offs are catalogued in a different register that can be accessed on site.
The library is a reference library, so there is no option to borrow items. However, reading desks are available. If you would like to use our library, please make an appointment with us.
