An important task of the Research Centre is to provide a network for researchers working on different aspects of Hanse and Baltic history. The FGHO connects and collaborates with colleagues that are interested in the many facettes of northern European economy, society and culture and the role that Hanse and other towns played in the development of northern and eastern European regions.
We are cooperating with a number of partner institutes, such as:
- Hansischer Geschichtsverein e. V. (Lübeck)
- Netzwerk Kunst und Kultur der Hansestädte (Lübeck)
- Verein für Lübeckische Geschichte und Altertumskunde (Lübeck)
- Academia Baltica - Akademie im Ostseeraum (Lübeck)
