Workshop "Northern Textile Economies: Diverse markets for textiles in norther European economic regions (14th-17th c.)"
Textiles always belonged to the most important consumer goods. Equally important was their role as commodity for the Low German merchants in the North Sea and Baltic area. The international interdisciplinary Workshop brought together experts from the fields of archaeology, economic and institutional history to discuss its production, distribution and consumption.
