The FGHO organises a range of activities on Hanse and Baltic history (mainly in German): 

  • public lectures, namely the series 'Money, Trade, and Politics' (Handel, Geld und Politik)
  • round tables on economic and social history 
  • workshops and summer schools for students and researchers
  • academic symposia and conferences on specific research topics 

We also gladly host academic events organised by researchers within Germany and abroad.
